For the more generous gift givers, a smartphone will go down a treat - especially a phone as smart as this, the Nokia N97.
It's a fully featured beast - 3.5-inch touch display, Qwerty keyboard, 32GB on-board memory, five megapixel camera, GPS - and a worthy iPhone alternative.
The device isn't out 'til early next year but with a mobile this desirable, an IOU for one N97 would still make an excellent Christmas present.
