Don’t Let Dirty Pictures Tarnish Your Company Image. Yesterday's news that the DVLA has fired 14 staff and disciplined 101 others for distributing pornographic images demonstrates the growing need for companies to protect their reputation. By putting in place IT systems that can block porn from entering or leaving the company network, the board can be sure that policies regarding inappropriate content are adhered to.

The fact that this 3 month investigation by the DVLA has revealed so many staff falling foul of the company code of conduct demonstrates that companies have an increasing duty of care to their staff.

Using web and email filtering software, enhanced with image analysis, companies can prevent this abuse of corporate assets, by simply blocking offensive and inappropriate email content in the workplace.
