An essential part od speech recognition is the understanding of context. I suspect that this bugs all linguistic recognition.

The algorithm (presumably) assigns a probability to each character. These probability will be influenced by what the word cal be.

Google translate has made stations elasic. "the season of spring = La estacion de resorte. Now if we are asked to decide between an "r" and a "p" "La estacion de" will make a p <i>primavera</i> more probable than eith an "r" or an "m".

I feel that finding contect <i>"?Quieres dormir con fosforo?</i>" Knowing the different types of "<i>match</i> would indicate contextural knowledge.
