Inprise has released the latest version of its application development tool, Borland Delphi 4. The company has maintained the branding of its former name, Borland, despite recent attempts to boost its presence in the enterprise market.
Delphi 4 offers a number of middleware-orientated technologies for building client applications, including Borland's multi-tier distribution application services technologies. The latest version also marks the first time Delphi has offered support for Corba, DCE and Microsoft Transaction Server.
Delphi 4 is available in three versions: client/server suite, professional and standard.
