Yahoo! is to branch out into web hosting with services to be offered through GeoCities.
Yahoo! acquired GeoCities, which allows amateurs to build their own sites, around two years ago.
The new services Yahoo! is to add will include personalised web addresses, five email accounts and storage facilities, according to reports on Reuters.
The sites will not be supported by advertising revenue, instead users will be charged monthly fees ranging from $8.95 to $11.95.
