Former Priceline front man and major shareholder William Shatner has been plunged into a row over accusations that he can be heard breaking wind on a Star Trek video.
Shatner, best known as Captain Kirk in Star Trek, is speaking to co-star Leonard Nimoy on Mind Melds: Secrets Behind The Voyage Of A Lifetime when the offending noise can be heard.
According to the New York Post Shatner suggests the noise was not down to him and is most likely the work of Nimoy or a camera being wheeled past or a dog barking.
Shatner was employed by name-your-own-price travel site Priceline as the front man for its advertising campaign and invested heavily in the venture. He was replaced earlier this year by Sex in the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker
