Bridge Broadband has launched a satellite service claiming to undercut the prices charged by BT.
Bridge's system uses technology from Hughes Network Systems, the world's largest satellite broadband provider, to offer 512Mbps broadband internet access for SMEs.
Bridge charges £159 for the single-user SoHo market and £269 per month for 12-user SME product. The cost of equipment and installation is amortised over the first three years, so SMEs don't have to stump up for installation costs in advance.
Bridge, a subsidiary of Flexia plc, joins BTopenworld and Cedar telecom with their SME satellite offer.
