Amazon has teamed up with travel website Expedia to launch a holiday bookings service for UK users.

Along with letting its four million users book flights, holidays and hotels, Amazon.co.uk will provide links to its own travel related content such as travel guides, digital cameras and language software.

The site, amazon.co.uk/travel, will launch with Christmas offers from Expedia including cheap flights to Dublin, Paris and Los Angeles.

The launch follows the inauguration of a similar service in the US at the end of September.
