Kay Hammond, the internet entrepreneur who auctioned herself as a wife on eBay and QXL before Christmas, is set to start all over again this coming Monday following a fake £10m top bid on her last attempt.
True romance (Act III) will ensue on QXL.com after the last session failed when it became apparent the winning bidder was not entirely serious.
A spokeswoman from QXL.com commented: "As far as we know Kay is going to resume the auction on Monday. As bidders organise their auctions themselves, we won't know for sure until she's online."
