BT has responded to criticism that its phone bills are too complicated by providing SMEs with a revised charging system.
It claims it can make calculating the cost of phone calls for SMEs easier with its new package, called BT Commitment Reward. The new billing system does away with initial joining charges, additional quarterly charges and set-up fees.
Instead, customers just receive a quarterly rental charge and a bill for calls. Companies which spend more than £500 per year will receive a five per cent credit on calls.
