Adopting technology such as PCs and internet access will be more rapid in China and India compared with other countries, and will set the stage for even greater growth in SME spending in the region over the coming years, according to IDC.

IT product and service players - specifically Indian service providers - will also introduce new SME offerings, increasing the opportunity for greater spending on IT by small and medium-sized enterprises.
