I disagree with Anonymous about having a personal rfid tag. I do believe they would be useful in the store or warehouse, as when the practical working range gets longer, then the whole stores contents could be monitored easily from 1 computer. So shoplifting would be very difficult and stock levels would of course be automatic.
But, the tags must be removed when the item leaves the store.

Of course, when the size of the tags diminishes to a microscopic level, they can tell us anything they like !

I can see a boom in personal multi-frequency scanners coming, just to de-bug yourself ;-)
