Certain software houses are not doing their best to ease the transition.
We have yet to migrate and while we are ready, the lead time quoted to us was in excess of 10 weeks! Add to this the fact that only after we pressed for an answer on compatibility between Terminal Server and the application, did we discover that the company concerned (who shall unfortunately remain nameless) were only trying to sell us the wrong product!!!
In summary, its not always the fault of the employers or the IT Departments when projects like this go severely wrong!
